David Eggen, MLA, is a Canadian politician and Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the riding of Edmonton-Calder .
A former high school teacher (1990-2004), he was elected to the Alberta Legislature, as an New Democrat, in the Alberta general election on November 22, 2004.
As part of his portfolio for the NDP, he is currently critic for environment and other ministries.
Education
He earned a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta in 1984.
