David Lascelles, Viscount Lascelles (born 21 October 1950), is the son of George Lascelles, 7th Earl of Harewood. He is 40th in line to the British throne, and Heir Apparent of the Earl of Harewood.
Lascelles married, in 1979, Margaret Rosalind Messenger (born 1948): they were divorced in 1989. In 1990, he married Diana Jane Howse. The two eldest children of Viscount Lascelles and his first wife, Margaret, Viscountess Lascelles, were born out of wedlock and therefore have no claims to the Harewood titles: the Honorable Emily Tsering Lascelles (born 1975) and the Honorable Benjamin George Lascelles (born 1978). Their younger two children are legitimate: the Honorable Alexander Edgar Lascelles (born 1980), who is next in line, after his father, to inherit the earldom of Harewood, and the Honorable Edward David Lascelles (born 1982).
